Ministry Update: Operation Barnabas – Medical Insurance Scheme For Commended Evangelists in India
Operation Barnabas:
Operation Barnabas has launched a Medical insurance scheme for commended evangelists in India. Last year (September 1st to August 31st) 730 families have been registered. Now it has to be renewed for another year. The premium is Rs. 8000 out of which we are asking the evangelist to pay Rs. 3000 and we trust the Lord to supply the rest. This has proved to be a great help to the evangelists. We had several cases of availing the full converge of Rs. 200,000. Those who are interested in supporting the evangelists in this area can make your contributions to Operation Barnabas. Please contact us for further details.
We would also like to inform all evangelists that Operation Barnabas will not be able to provide any assistance for medical needs to those who do not join the scheme as we are spending a huge amount of money for the insurance.

I am sure all of us are much concerned about our health. My question is a bit different. It is not about your health but about the health of our commended evangelists who are being burned out for the gospel.
The Lord made it possible through Operation Barnabas, a Medical insurance scheme for Commended Evangelists in India. 700 families have registered and got coverage up to Rs. 200000/- first time. This year as we renew this in September 1st, we expect more families to join. The premium is Rs 8000 per family out of which we are asking the evangelists to pay Rs. 3000/-. There is a golden opportunity for all those who care for our commended evangelists to support them in a special and most needed area. Assemblies or individuals can sponsor one or more evangelists by paying their premium fully or partially. Your contributions can be send to Operation Barnabas account followed by a payment advice. This is a ministry to the soul and body of the evangelist and his family. It is a faith ministry and not sponsored by any agencies.
