Ministry Update: Evg. Pushpan Pappu, Fiji
Dear Saints,
By the grace of God, I had a safe arrival in Fiji.
They were hoping somebody will come along with me this time, my 3rd time. Half of the population is Indians, Hindi speaking and mostly Hindus. However, the island is ready for a harvest of souls for the glory of God. In the Church also a very interesting mix of people, many do not know the Lord personally.
Many are happy to add the Lord along with their many beliefs. In the midst of this, many Hindus need to hear the Gospel, most likely the very first time. This is where my “Veranda Evangelism” strategy will work. People are very friendly and hospitable.
My partner, Brother Janardha Reddy here in Fiji, as before gave his only bed to me, and sleep in the same room on the floor. There is no change to the situation, as yet no electricity in his home. It takes a little time to get used to it, especially at night. But during the day many opportunities, one house at a time.
Do pray for:
- Good health.
- Protection from the enemies of the Gospel.
- Good co-workers motivated to witness to Hindus.
- Good weather.
- The Lord’s help in every way.
- Every day we may listen to the Lord’s voice in direction, so the Lord may go before us.
Thank you.
For the Lord’s glory and Kingdom in Fiji.
