Dear Brethren in Christ,

Warm greetings in the most worthy name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We consider this as our privilege and also our duty to inform you what is going on in this part of India, namely Chelluru not far from Vizianagaram, for your fervent prayer.

It was in 1992 that Bro. V.P. Fernandus from Kerala started a work in Chelluru with the aim of Church planting. Our great God honoured labours and now there is an assembly of 240 members. By the grace of God, new members are being added so that the present meeting hall has become insufficient. The work not confine to this village only. The whole place is covered with hills and the people are mountain dwellers and “Adivasis.” They have to be taught and culturally uplifted. Now we have 42 assemblies who are happy in the Lord and active in the things of God.

We all know that we Brethren grow only by means of teaching the Word of God. The need of these 42 assemblies among these hills is more teaching. Paul the Apostle speaks about the “defence and confirmation of the gospel.” This has to be made sure in these assemblies. Setting this goal before us, we would like to prayerfully go on with the project of a one-year-course Bible School. Several Bible teachers of our assemblies have promised to come and help us in teaching. Our plan is to select students from these newly formed assemblies to train them so that they will go back to their respective assemblies and teach them.

This has to be accomplished by the generous help and participation of the saints of the Lord. We hope, trusting in the Lord, to start the school in the Assembly hall at Chelluru on July 01, 2015.
