Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – April 13, 2015
Dear Brethren,
Thank you for continuing to pray for the many aspects of ECS Ministries. Make sure to check out Jim Fleming’s prayer video at the bottom.
Please remember to continue to pray for the workers in Ukraine, India, South Africa, and Pakistan.

Please pray for the Searcy family. Wally and Charlene were volunteers at ECS for over 25 years, faithfully driving 2 hours every Wednesday to grade and comment on courses. Last week, on our Facebook page, we asked for prayer for Wally for healing from a recent surgery to put in stents. On April 11, Wally went home to be with Jesus. Pray for Charlene and the family. Charlene was also sick last week with bronchitis.
International Coordinator – Jim Fleming
Jim is at the ECS England conference Monday through Wednesday then travels to Denmark Wednesday evening through Thursday. Pray for the ability to make contacts for a future ECS work. The late Thursday night he will be with Mr. Jens Bech and the Assemblies on the Faeroe Islands until Monday, training in the restarting of ECS Faeroes.
Watch the prayer video for this International trip at the bottom.
Ukraine – Yuri Yur
There is increasing difficulty getting courses into the difficult / war zone of the country. Pray.
Please pray for safety & boldness for our Emmaus workers in places like Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Jordan, Gulf States, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Colombia – to name a few. Pray over a map and there will be Emmaus workers in most of the countries your eye falls on – and potentially in danger physically, or politically and always spiritually – pray!
Illinois – Louis Dooley
Pray as Louis and his wife, Julie set up arrangements to use ECS courses in the Willow Creek Church outreach to inmates in Illinois. Willow Creek plans to send a package to all inmates in the state at Christmas time. If approved, each package will contain a copy of Jonah: Meeting the God of the Second Chance. This is a large project!
Texas – Rodger Turley
“Our largest Spanish Branch which serves 800 active Spanish students would like to cut back to 400 per month. Pray that we may immediately find several new Branches to readily and with great encouragement serve these ones who find themselves in an uncomfortable and sometimes vulnerable position of not being able to speak the language of their peers.”
