CONFERENCE SPEAKERS
Larry Dixon
Author, speaker, and theology professor Dr. Larry Dixon has been a church speaker among the Open Brethren Assemblies for the last 40 years, sharing his passion for making the doctrines of the Christian faith understandable and enjoyable. He currently serves as Professor of Systematic Theology at Columbia International University Seminary & School of Ministry in Columbia, SC. Larry has also served as a missionary in Berlin, Germany, and taught theology at Providence College in Canada. He has studied at Emmaus Bible College, Northeastern Bible College, Biblical Theological Seminary, and Drew University. You can check out his blog at larrydixon.wordpress.com.
Daryl Lynn
Daryl Lynn grew up in the St. Louis area and is presently serving as an elder at Valley Park Chapel. He also works full-time as the Manager of Corporate Security at Maritz LLC in Fenton, Missouri. Daryl and his wife Nancy have six adult children, one precious grandchild, and another one on the way. Daryl has a burden to reach young people with the gospel. For the last 38 years he’s led an evangelistic Bible study for local teens called Impact. Daryl has authored a book about Christian growth titled Evident Progress. He’s currently working on completing a series of read-through-the-Bible studies designed to encourage thoughtful reading of the Scriptures.
Ian Taylor
Ian Taylor was commended to missionary work in Colombia in 1968 by three assemblies in Sydney, Australia, where he grew up. He has authored books in both Spanish and English and has been involved in numerous church plants. After his first wife went to be with the Lord, he remarried and moved to Florida where he was involved in planting an assembly of Spanish speaking believers. When his second wife was called Home, he moved to Kenosha, WI to again serve as a commended worker. Since he has served on board of trustees and executive committee of Emmaus Bible College, and now serves as Vice-Chairman on the Board of ECS Ministries.
