NATIONAL WEEK OF PRAYER

Please mark the above dates in your calendar and plan to join us as we seek the Lord for revival in North America, among New Testament Patterned assemblies and other Bible Believing and Gospel Preaching Churches in the land.
The Conference begins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, and ends at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22. Location will be at The Bible Chapel of Shawnee, Kansas City, unless more space is demanded due to numbers attending.
If you cannot come, please consider organizing a similar prayer conference in your area. Details of regional prayer weeks will be supplied as they become known.
The Burden:
Acts 6:4: “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
The Apostolic priorities were Prayer and the ministry of the Word. It would be fair to say that the saints in North America have given themselves to the Ministry of the Word, but few can honestly say they have given themselves to Prayer. [Praise the Lord for every blessed exception]. Over the years we have had many conferences to teach the Scriptures and even some conferences where the topic has been prayer, but this conference is designed not to talk about prayer but to simply pray. Burdened saints from across the continent can come together and seek the face of God for spiritual revival from the apathy and decline that is so evident among us. Each prayer session will be introduced by a short devotional or exhortation on prayer, and then we will get down to the main business of the conference, that of praying.
Issues on our hearts include Revival in Assemblies, Families, and Individuals; a renewed Zeal for the Gospel; and a general awakening among the lost. We believe New Testament Principles without New Testament Power is the cause of our weakness.
