Dr. Samuel Pfeifer MD is an International authority in this topic. He has been serving as Medical Director of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, “Clinic Sonnenhalde” (“Sunny Hill”) in Riehen near Basel / Switzerland for 25 years. He has published several books and numerous articles on the integration of Christian Soul Care and Clinical Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. He is currently serving as a senior consultant at the clinic, with a special emphasis on “Psychiatry, Spirituality and Ethics.” Further interests are in the field of “Global Mental Health in a Christian Context,” educating professionals and lay persons in a compassionate and professional psychiatry inspired by Christian values.
