Prayer requested: Believers in Assam, India

Please pray for the believers of Raunikhata, Dhonpur and Gossaigaon Brethren Assemblies. The members of these three brethren assemblies are the tribal people. They all had left their own houses and flew to the mountains and forests to save their lives. Most of their houses might have been burned by this time.

Evg. Ravikumar S. (From Haripad, Kerala) is working in these places by staying at Bongaogaon. He requests all the Brethren to remember these affected believers. There is all the possibilities that they may be attacked this night. Please pray that they may receive the Divine protection so that all may be delivered from the attacks of National Democratic Front of Bodoland-NDFB (S). Please also pray that they may be able to bear high winter climate while they are in the mountains and forests.

Please also do pray for the Assemblies and believers of Assam.

Guwahati: The toll rose to 78 today in attacks by NDFB (S) and retaliatory violence in lower Assam with Adivasis setting afire houses of Bodos as the backlash to the Tuesday massacre continued for the second day. (http://english.manoramaonline.com/)

Thanks for your prayers. All believers are safe by God’s grace. Most of the believers have returned back to their houses. Though most of their neighbouring houses were burnt, God spared our believers’ houses.
