We have the pleasure to inform one and all that, the assemblies in West Bengal and part of Jharkhand are having their spiritual convention from October 22nd to 25th, 2015 d.v., at the BBTI Campus, Jharkhand.
Nearly 40 assemblies will participate. The Theme has been chosen from 1 Timothy 3:15.
The following speakers will address the congregation and deal with the subject, as follows:
Bro. G.A. Dawson: Duties & Responsibilities of the Church
Bro. Thompson B. Thomas: Believers & the Church/Worship aspect
Bro. Varghese Kurian: Relevance of Holiness/Unity/Fellowship/
Dr. Alexander Kurian: Pillar & Ground of the Truth (Assembly Distinctives)
Bro. Shalu T. Ninan: Ministry & Growth of the Church
After the year 2007, the believers decided once again to host such Convention. In the year 1988, such Convention was first initiated, under the able leadership of Late George Kurian. He was of the view that, throughout the year, the Evangelists toil in the field and do not enjoy any time of recess. This type of gathering would be a breather for them and all of them can enjoy a retreat along with their family members. At the same time, all other assemblies should also assemble to encourage these dear brethren. We appreciate and share that, such times in the past were of immense benefit to everybody.
Therefore, we covet and heartily request the prayer of the believers to pray for this Convention, so that Bengal is blessed by God, with many more souls being added to the Assembly.
