Newsletter from Ananda & Grace at Malawi (Southern Africa) – October, 2014
Greetings again in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Its very happy to write our News again here.
FAMILY NEWS: Thanks for praying for us. We are so thankful to God and also you all that we have entered into 3rd year. God is faithful. Please join with us to pray for our security; we need to move from this house since we are facing several threats and now and then thieves are trying to enter into the compound. We have been trying to search the rented houses but it has been very difficult to get a well secured one.
Praise God that Lord has provided one way flight ticket to India and God willing we will be leaving on 25th November for a short visit and we would like to come back by January 2015. Please continue to pray for journey mercies, safe fly and stay well with the family. Assembly brethren may invite me to share about the Lord’s work here in Malawi. We are excited to see our Parents, extended families, friends and brethren in commended Assemblies and we request you all please pray that Lord may also provide return ticket by January.
As we are praying and seeking places in one of the best schools for Anny & Jack, the school has offered seats from the next term (January) but the fees are very high due to Cambridge curriculum. So please continue to pray that God may provide for this. We have to take admission into this school because at the present school, the children are facing racial discrimination much and corruption in finances too.
WORK OF THE LORD:
Bethel’s Work: Praise God. New people are coming to the Assembly regularly & two believers will be obeying the Lord in the water baptism soon. Please pray for this programme as we need a place which should contain good amount of water since there is a heavy water scarcity. Since we will be away for the short time, please pray that Lord may guide the brethren that they may go on with the programmes in a good way that brings glory to God.
Construction Project: As we have mention in our previous news letters, preparation is going on for construction project. City council issue is not resolved yet so we can’t go on for construction on the Trust land. Please continue to pray that the Lord will provide a solution of the rates problem with the land.
Gospel Outreach: Grace is continuing to share the Gospel in the area on every Monday morning. God opened hearts of many and few of them are coming to sisters meeting. Pray that they may know the Lord well. I continue to follow up them.
Emmaus Work: God has been giving us much opportunity in many places and many people are doing courses. Please continue to pray for the people that they may understand the truth and know God better.
Village Churches: Please continue to pray for these village Assemblies as they still need Bibles and Hymnals and Assembly halls.
Fire Station work: It continues in Blantyre on every second Thursday and could visit Zomba fire station also to share the word of God. Please pray that God may give me more ideas to encourage them. Let us thank God that the people from UK has donated the 4 old fire engines and now they are on the way to the country. Pray that they may be brought safely.
Challenge Gospel paper work: Praise God, new edition of Challenge is arrived and we have distributed 35,000 papers and we have good responses. Now Bro. John Finnegan (Zomba) is helping in this work. Pray that Lord may grant wisdom to do this job. Please continue to pray about Isaac as he continues to collecting the testimonies from the people around.
Book Distribution: God has been using Bro. Jonathan Newell to write excellent books in Chichewa with Biblical solutions for African culture (Publishing and printing by OPAL Trust UK) and We have been distributing them here for reasonable prices and very nominal prices at villages. We want to introduce the books to the more churches and book shops around the country so it needs lot of time and travelling expenses. So please pray for this.
