Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – Nov 24, 2014

ecs-logo300x300medDear Brethren,

Thanks for taking the time to pray with us each week!

Prayer

Pray for good contributions to the building fund for a new (and better-heated) warehouse.

International Coordinator – Jim Fleming
Jim thanks you for all praying as he and Sharon were meeting believers and seeing the ECS work in the world’s second most populous country this month. There are great challenges to the work, but with equal or greater potential. Pray for Bryan Ford as he travels back to the States today, after staying on a few more days.

Dominica – West Indies
Clifford Nicholas has 21 students wanting to take ECS courses in this country we visited in July where there is no formal school there yet. Pray as they are established.

Cambodia – Insun Park
Pray for:
The salvation of their assistant, Sinath.
The translation of God’s Blueprint for Your Marriage.
Trying out ECS courses with the teachers at Sangkhim Canaan School, a Christian school in Cambodia.
Pray for Steve Olson as he deals with some health issues and will have some work restrictions for a period.

Pray for inmates as the holiday season nears. It is a difficult time away from home. Prayerfully, this will lead some to consider spiritual answers.

California
Paul Freeman reported that the annual Riverside Jail Christmas outreach is coming up. 110 men and women volunteer to sing, preach, and hand out gifts (including an ECS course) to every inmate in the large area of institutions.

Illinois
Pray for the Willow Creek Church Christmas project. 17,000 copies of Managing Anger God’s Way and 3,000 copies of Sense and Nonsense of Prayer will be distributed to inmates in Illinois in a gift package. May God bless this effort and reach many potential new students for Set Free in Illinois. Thanks to Louis Dooley and Randy Gruber for helping to coordinate the ECS work.
