Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – Sep 23, 2014

California – Doug Crabb
“We could use a faithful man to help with the construction of The Ranch. Cement blocks will be laid up on the well house this coming week. We now have blue prints for the buildings on the ranch. We are in need of finances to continue this project. This project will affect men and their families, their children and communities because the Lord will unfold blessings in their lives.”

Pray for Rosemary Redshaw (Canada) and Sue Smith (South Carolina) as they take on the role of PC in their respective areas. Rosemary is succeeding Gerrit Blok while Sue takes over for Gerald Tice.

New York – Jeff Hage
Jeff is the director for the Yonkers Gospel Mission. After a great deal of prayer and seeing how the Lord has led through circumstances, the Board and staff unanimously agreed to sell the facility and possibly relocate the work and/or change the mode of ministry altogether. The next few months will not be easy on the residents or staff.

Pennsylvania – Tim Priano
We are excited to announce that Life’s Key now has a website! The address is www.lifeskey.org. The new website will be the place where you can find ministry updates for Life’s Key and more information.

International Coordinator – Jim Fleming
Pray as Jim and Sharon visit the last two main ECS Japan centers. At each, there are a couple days of Bible teaching based around Bible study methods using Emmaus courses as the texts. People will learn the habit of daily study for life (using ECS courses!) Pray for Jim & Sharon as they fly home Monday – one of those mind-messing, 37-hour days, crossing the date line.

ECS Europe
Praise God for some bright spots in the work: Spanish is being used in more countries; many language courses going out from ECS Holland; printing new titles in Albania. Many countries are struggling on what is now the spiritually “Dark Continent”.
