Prayer

Colombia – Gilberto Vanegas
They are giving thanks for good results from a local church “graduation” program of those that finish a series of 12 courses. Last Sunday they did two of these graduations in two different churches. They are seeing a growing enthusiasm and use of the courses at a church level as a result.

Singapore – Robert Hmar
Pray for a Ghanaian student serving an 8-years prison term in Bangkok. Singapore has sent 12 English Emmaus courses over the past year and he has completed 28 courses to date! He will be released and go home this December.

Intl. Coordinator – Jim Fleming
Pray for the final preparations before leaving for Korea and Japan on Thursday from Dubuque.

Virginia
Pray for John Grantham who leads Bible Studies at the Loudoun County, VA Adult Detention Center- Maximum Security on Sunday and Tuesday nights. He contacted ECS last week and will now be referring students to Life’s Key.

Pray for Mike, an inmate at Tehachapi who answered a What Do You Say question: “I don’t serve, worship, and praise God only so I can go to heaven. Heaven is a bonus. But feeling His love, not fearing life or death, being content, happy, joyful, free of bondage, and full of hope makes the biggest difference in my life. Heaven completes the package.” Praise God that ECS courses help mature new believers to enjoy God and glorify Him forever.
