Newsletter from Ananda & Grace at Malawi (Southern Africa) – July 2014

The winter is started after the harvest. God has given the new president and the new government to the country.

WORK OF THE LORD:

God has been graciously using us in His work for which we praise and thank Him. As Lord said Harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few, There is plenty of work to do..

Bethel’s Work: Praise God new people are coming to the Assembly regularly & old man has been attending from last 8 months asked for the Baptism and is attending baptism bible study. Pray that they may know and understand the teaching we have been teaching at the Bible studies on every Sunday. Had a good Gospel outreach at Easter time new contacts made they are coming to the meeting.

Assembly Hall Construction: As we have mention in our previous news letter, preparation is going on for construction project God willing Mr. Alan Park of Bass tacks and the team has agreed and willing to come do the project, Please pray city council demanding high amount of rates and they approve the design soon. Mr. Alan and the team was so kind to design the plan and it includes a teaching room for Bible school as well as Emmaus printing, Challenge office with Assembly hall so in whole it’s a big project and need of finances may be 20 to 35,000 STERLING POUNDS roughly initially We have very limited funds for this but we trust God will provide in due time. So we earnestly need your prayers.

Gospel Out reach: Grace is continuing to share the Gospel in the area on every Monday morning God opened hearts of many and few of them are coming to sisters meeting pray that they may know the Lord well. We could visit few schools around here and sharing the Gospel please pray for fruits.

Emmaus Work: The Bible study at Chadzunda, Emmaus Correspondence Course (Book: What the Bible teaches) was completed the tests. Pray that they may really understand and know God well and grow in the Lord. Thank God and He has answered our prayers and open the way to reach Prison inmates with the Gospel and Emmaus courses are given out and most of them are finished their test in What the Bible Teaches, God willing we are praying to introduce to school learners in the Prison, We are praying to reach other prisons in the country please continue to pray. God has opened the door in Street children project to teach young and teens on every Wednesday they are also doing the courses.

Village Churches: .By the Grace of God we could visit several assemblies in villages and God used us to strengthen the believers. They have arranged the Easter conference in a tiny village called Khoko on 19&20th April 2014, God used us to preach on the character of Abraham and believers were strengthened and two people came to the Lord. Please continue to pray for these village churches.

Fire Station work: It continues in Blantyre on every second Thursday and could visit Zomba fire station also to share the word of God. They have also joined in Emmaus course, They have been requesting prayers for that they may have better equipment from the Government or NGO’s as they promised since we have found that they can’t control when fire break out. Recently God has provided with an old fire engine from Japan to the Blantyre fire station.

Challenge work: Challenege is always a challenge to bring into the country please pray for Good transporter from South Africa, we have been asked by the people for another edition all time. Pray for Isaac who collects and compiles the testimonies from the people around.

FAMILY NEWS:

Praise and Thank God has been faithful to provide for our needs to live in this land and work for Him 3 more months, To pay the rent and for food as well as for children’s education these are main challenges and we also need to pray the big amounts. We really thank and praise God who honors the faith which is his gift. We really thank those who are taking interest to share in our necessity (2Cor 9:8-13). Please continue to pray for God’s providence and Protection too.

Anny & Jack: They are about to finish this academic year and preparing to write the final exams. Praying for God’s will to change another school but fees are always higher. Jack is weak all times and Anny need to see the doctor for leg problem and small growth on her neck.

God willing we are planning to visit India this year in December please pray for God’s provision so that we can book the tickets before.

Thanks for praying for the TEP we have submitted the application without any objections. Please pray for they may renew it soon..

Br.Daniel Felton, Australia was with us to see the ministry and the family in this month and encouraged us though he belongs to Baptist church but happy to work with us in agree with the doctrine, has also burden for the Lord’s work in Malawi, in future would praying to come for serve the Lord.
