Ministry Update: FIBA – Focus Andhra 2014
The Lord enabled FIBA to complete the Focus on ANDHRAPRADESH 2014 project successfully.
Dearly Beloved,
Warm greetings on behalf of FIBA Ministries in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. The Lord has graced FIBA Ministries the privilege to be the arms and feet of His work in India. A team of 9 individuals from different parts of USA, Canada and India has traveled to Andhra Pradesh to bring the great knowledge of the Lord that has been freely given to us, in hopes of making the Lord’s name greater.
Focus Andhra 2014 was a project undertaken by FIBA to help, encourage, and empower the under privileged and less fortunate believers in the tribal villages of Srikakulam District in Andhrapradesh. A three day family conference was held from May 9th-11th, 2014, with 800 attendees in the first session alone. On May 10th, the wedding of nine couples from the Tribal Assemblies was taken place in Jonaga. The FIBA Team was able to participate and support in the unique and unforgettable event among the Assemblies in the wilderness. As 1400 believers, from 30 different Assemblies gathered for this joyous event, the name of the Lord was indeed made great. We were able to fellowship together on the Lords Day, May 11th in Lambaguda Village with 220 believers from 2 assemblies. We brethren that were able to visit, were able to share the word of God, our experiences as believers, but most of all, our love to the brothers and sisters, in Christ Jesus.
This project was only made possible through prayer and support of believers all around us. The Lord graciously worked all things together for our good, as we were also blessed by the work he enabled us to be a small part of. We can only continue to pray and support, asking God to continue to work in those areas which we have touched.
