Ministry Update: West Bengal, India

West Bengal:

Dear Prayer Partner,

Thank you so much for praying. Because of your prayers, God has bestowed His unchanging mercy and faithfulness toward us.

Since 2011, after starting with three Assemblies in Sunderban,we were praying for 15 Assemblies by the year 2015. We selected 16 EDPs (Evangelism Discipleship Platform) or Spots for this. We started visiting these places and had regular prayer, distributed tracts and leaflets. After distributing tracts we received a huge response, and followed up them we using the Emmaus Courses.

Very patiently we waited in prayer while still maintaining contact with them. During the years 2012- 2013, we prepared the ground with His power and might. With the guidance of the Lord, we were planning to have seekers rallies and follow up meetings in February 2014 but we were in need of funds to organise rallies.Praise God ! He in His mercy made arrangements and sent a team who wanted to meet in Sunderban at their own expenses. We were ready to help them.They also wanted to have meetings with these contacts and as per God’s provision, they wanted to bear all the expenses of 16 follow up meetings in 5 days with four teams. Each team had four people and each team had one meeting a day. We, in these teams, spent 3-4 hours in that particular area in first half and then second half meeting with these contacts. Many people (believers) were convicted and accepted Christ as their personal Saviour. There are more than 700 believers and more contacts are yet to be followed up.

PLAN

1. We are going to have 10 Baptism meetings in the months of March to May 2014 and officially start an Assembly.
2. Every quarter, one week residential Bible classes for 24 key youth to prepare them as next Church Planters for one year (March, June, September and December 2014).
3. Provide advance course of Emmaus courses (6th- 14th books) for all these 700 believers.
4. To develop local human, social and economical resources to become self supported ministry in this region by 2020.

GOAL 2020

Our new goal is to plan at least 50 Churches God willing by the year 2020 and become self sustainable.

To reach this Goal our MOTTO is 4 G (Go , Gather, Grow and Glorify)

Thus, we need Partners who will Pray, Visit, Teach and Support for His Kingdom.
