Ministry Update: New address for assembly, Punjab, India

Letter from the Christian Believers Assembly, 15, Anand Avenue, Deepnagar, Jalandhar Cantt, Punjab:

Dear beloved in the Lord,

Greetings in the most precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We as an Assembly would like to thank and praise God for your valuable prayer and support in 2013 and by His Grace and mercies we had 9 people obeyed the Lord in baptism. As the Lord has led us to villages for the gospel work, a new assembly testimony has been established in the nearby village. Please pray.

We had a special Gospel meeting on 25th December. Nearly 80 people gathered and heard the exact truth of the Gospel. Many were blessed and came forward to accept the Lord as their personal Saviour.

Please pray for another 8 people who are ready to obey the Lord in Baptism. God willing we will be having the baptism service on the first week of January 2014.

On 31st night we had a thanks giving prayer meeting in which whole assembly gathered to thank our Lord and master for the goodness, protection, provision and promises which Lord has fulfilled in the whole year of 2013. Please pray for this growing assembly that they may grow in a qualitatively as well as quantitatively way.

CHANGE OF ASSEMBLY VENUE :

For the last two years, we are situated in this new venue. Evg. K.K. Oommen from Pathankot inaugurated this assembly hall.

Beloved, if your assembly believers are posted to Jalandhar or someone is visiting Jalandhar and you want to have fellowship, you are most welcome to our Brethren assembly. Please share and pass on this information in your assemblies if you are reading this News Letter, especially the UAE Assemblies because some were mislead or misinformed of the Jalandhar Assembly.

There is only on Brethren assembly in Jalandhar and our commended Brother Johnson J. Titus (Evg.) is the worker at this place and he is doing a commendable work in the Assembly and in the nearby villages to establish assembly testimony. Please pray for him and his family that the Lord may take care.
