Prayer

Malawi – John Finnegan
John asks for prayer for Brother Ananda – the only fellow missionary in their 11 years, who is truly interested in ECS. (Ananda ministered with ECS in his native India.) Pray for his Chichewa learning. Pray that soon he will be able to fully use the courses. Pray for Ananda & Grace as they face stern prejudice against them as being ‘Asian’ in Malawian society.

Switzerland – Markus Wilhelm
Pray that 2 more German courses will be well edited and printed. Pray to find a faithful Brother to assist Markus with the work. Pray for the 25 to 30 young adults studying an ECS course every Sunday night with Markus.

Jim Fleming gives thanks:
The Emmaus India board meeting went well last week. Pray for their vision to come to fruition.
We are making contacts with Arabic speaking expatriate groups in the United Arab Emirates with a view to adding an Arabic ECS school there.
The ECS team in Bangladesh remains firm amidst many political problems there.

Texas – David Case
David is a volunteer worker with Write-Way Ministries and was diagnosed with Squamous-cell carcinoma. Please pray for David as he deals with this form of cancer and for peace.
