A word of thanks to those who prayed for us as we ventured south this past week to “Cruisin’ the Coast”. It’s a massive gathering of old cars (at least 10,000 classics) and many thousands of people. The venues stretch from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs, MS, a distance of about 35 miles. So I headed there with the Ford F350 hauling the 1955 turquoise and white Oldsmobile. I was privileged to take two college students along, Justin and Chase.
Our favorite fishin’ hole last year was the Edgewater Mall in Biloxi. A section of the parking lot is roped off as an official venue for registered cars, but there is still plenty of room for unregistered cars like ours. We arrived early enough to get a spot in the shade of a tree, thank the Lord, although I still ended up looking like a Mississippi crawfish after it was boiled.
