Ministry Update: Evg. Vinoji Samuel, Kenya & Malawi

Dear Ones

It is with great anxiety and fear that we all listened to another terrorist attack at the heart of Nairobi, Kenya. The world is becoming more chaotic. There is no safety anywhere. Many of our dear ones were asking about it.

We lived in Nairobi for about 9 years and visited this “Westgate Mall” several times. One of Julia (my daughter)’s Gujarati friends also died in the attack. She was greatly saddened by seeing her dead body through YouTube. All our brothers are safe including Br. Happy and family as also Abraham Sam from CA-he has since been back. There was much freedom for the Gospel in Kenya. Pray that these incidents will not affect in any way the freedom they enjoy. Obviously, it can bring lot of changes there

And also I seek your earnest prayers for the meetings (Sept 28 & 29 at Austin, Texas; October 3-14 at Atlanta; and Nov 16 & 27 at Milwaukee. Please pray that God’s name may be glorified through all these meetings.

Some construction work is going on at the Mission Center in Malawi (Tailoring Room). God has given 40% of the funds for the bore well. Please pray for my upcoming African trip from Dec 4-Feb 5 – (Joyce [my wife] is coming for 5 weeks.) Joyce’s parents, brother and family are staying just next door which is a great help for children).

Request prayers for Br. George P. John (Dallas) and Ashley Kurian (Dallas) as they are planning to come in as Visiting Faculty for the training. This time, the topics are, Biblical Leadership, 1 Timothy and Stewardship)
