Pray for Les & Sharon Frey, Spain

PRAY for Les & Sharon Frey, who have been serving the Lord in Spain through evangelism, family ministry, and developing leaders. Here’s an excerpt from their most recent update:

“We have mixed feelings as we send our last news and thank-you letter from Spain since our departure date is several weeks from now on Oct. 6th. Last Saturday, at our farewell celebration service, we marveled at the fact that we as believers have such an advantage in our relationships as we touch lives for eternity, sharing spiritual life and not mere superficial chit-chat. Person after person spoke of life-change and consequent blessing and how our lives touched theirs and their families. From a pastor of 200 who trusted the Lord with us, to a special needs man, from an anesthetist to a child clinging to Les as though He were her grandpa, all testified to how we touched them. During the service we were all moved emotionally as an oncologist shared via Skype from Italy where he was attending a medical congress, how much he appreciated Les’ patience with him as a young med student in Zaragoza, studying the Bible with him till he came to faith. Now he could testify to the fact that he and his wife and three daughters now form a Christian home. All we can say is, “Praise the Lord!”, and we echo Paul’s words to the Corinthian church, “your labour is not in vain”. We want you to know that you share our joy because we have been co-workers with you who have supported us in giving and prayer.”
