SBS Special Camp 2013 – Report

This year the SBS Special Camp was held from 30 July to 2 August 2013. The camp attracted more than 100 participants from Arabian Gulf countries and the US. It was held at SBS Camp Centre, Puthencavu (Kerala).

The Theme of the Camp was “Thoroughly Furnished Unto All Good Works” based upon 2 Timothy 3:16 and 17. The main theme was presented by Dr. Johnson C. Philip with the help of a printed study-guide.

Dr. John Abraham presented a series of studies highly relevant for our young people. Joy John (Bangalore) also handled several special sessions. Both of them also answered many questions which children and parents asked them.

The camp this year was blessed by the presence of several special guests including K.M. John (USA), T.J. Joseph (Alwar), and V.K. Abraham (USA). Each one of them presented special topics relevant to today’s younger generation.

The camp came to a emotional conclusion on the evening of 2nd August where many students and parents testified that the theme-study and the special topics touched them deeply and that they will be returning home with a totally changed life and a new commitment.
