Zimbabwe – Prisoner student John Ganda
HUNGER DOMINATED PRISON
I would like to thank my Lord God for saving my life, during the years 2008 to 2010 when hunger dominated the country. Prisoners and prison officer were starving. We survived with just two or three tiny meals per week, many inmates’ suffered from malnutrition, and starved to death; we ended up eating even rats for survival. This led most of the survivors to surrender their life to Lord for salvation. Long hours were spent in prayers and reading the word of God, through Emmaus courses. During those most difficult times, the word of God was revealed in detail to most Prisoners and it changed most lives of the inmates. We were taught to lean on the Lord, which is our greatest strength in this new life. Thank you the Lord God for saving my life. – Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison (largest prison in Zimbabwe)

Plus!! We praise God for touching the heart of the deputy prison officer of the Chikurubi maximum prison, who became one of our students. At present, he completed his first course The Gospel Of John.
