Dear Brother in Christ,
Warm greetings to you in the mighty name of the Lord and our savior Jesus Christ., the soon returning King of kings.
“Sewaghar Brethren Assembly” is a multi lingual Bible believing assembly in Nepali, Hindi and Maithili. The primary languages spoken at our gatherings are Nepali and Hindi.
We uphold the pattern of a New Testament Church focused on Bible study, fellowship, weekly breaking of bread on the Lords day and prayer.
We are a family oriented assembly growing together in Christ’s love by enabling the spiritual growth of all ages through various meetings and ministries.
We are a gospel focused assembly looking to keep open the door of salvation that come from the “Good News” of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to our community, country and the world.
Our vision for this assembly would enable us to be a New Testament Church branching out into new Churches in the future, and orphanage ministry with free education ministry for poor children.
MY TESTIMONY
My name is Binod Kumar. I was born and brought up in a Hindu family in Bihar, (India).
While working in Ludhiana, I had the opportunity to here the Word of God through the believers of Ludhiana Brethren Assembly and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior on 14th February 1999. I was baptized on 25th September 1999.
While I was doing a secular job as a area manager of Eicher Tractor Pvt Ltd, the Lord called me to His ministry through “James 1:27”.
I resigned from my job in June 2005. Wonderfully the Lord opened the door for me to study the Word of God at N.I.B.I. Alwar, Rajasthan. On completing the two years Theological Course, I came back to my mother church and served the Lord with the assembly for almost one year.
In November 2008, after much prayer, I come back to my native place at Forbesganj (Bihar) and started gospel work in Biratnagar, Nepal on 15 Nov 2008.
ASSEMBLY TESTIMONY
By the grace of God, an assembly testimony was established on 17th January 2009, at Rani-18, Biratnagar, Nepal. Thirty three (33) believers are in fellowship and many interested people are also regularly attending the weekly meeting, and some new believers are praying about baptism.
We are also doing gospel ministry with HIV patients. Three HIV patients accepted Lord Jesus Christ as there personal Savior. Bro. Gokul Gurung, an HIV patient has been living in the assembly for 4 years. Kindly pray for the HIV patients in Nepal.
Dear brethren, please pray and support this ministry. We are all from Hindu background. Most all of us are workers in the jute mill and economically backward. I am involved in the Lord’s Ministry full time by faith. Expenses and needs are difficult to be met; I have taken loans to survive.
Kindly pray and support Nepal ministry. Remember me and my family in your valuable prayers.
