Hope Believers (Brethren) Assembly, Bhopal under the banner of HOPE is undertaking a residential educational initiative called HOPE Academy of Theology & Sciences. HATS academic study prepares people for life in the ‘real world’. The integrated dual programs aim to equip students in non-theological disciplines with the theological understandings needed to apply a Christian perspective & commitment to their life in the world. Our aim is to integrate theological reflection with occupational and life interests of believers who join our educational initiatives. The crux is that the local Assembly must be central in theological education.
HATS came into existence on 1 June 2009, at the premises where Hope Believers (Brethren) Assembly is gathering.
HATS is the first Brethren Assembly based educational initiative in India which offers integrated residential educational programs. Presently we are having two programs :
1. 1. One year integrated program
Certificate in Theology
&
Certifícate in Office Systems
2. 2. Three year integrated program
Bachelors in Theology
&
Diploma in Office Systems / Univ BA
HATS is also the first Brethren Assembly based residential theological initiative in Central & North India to start residential theological programs for Sisters. Our sisters in North India now can avail Assembly based theological education in Hindi-English. Presently we have 11 sisters from various states across North India enrolled in the above two programs. God has been gracious to us in successfully imparting theological & vocational training for the SISTERS in NORTH INDIA for the last TWO (2) years.
HATS is also the first Brethren Assembly based residential theological initiative in Central & North India to start residential theological programs for Families. We have opened up admission for families.
HATS is also the first Brethren Assembly based residential theological initiative in Central & North India to offer residential theological programs in GURUKUL mode of learning. Students of each batch goes, stays & learns few course modules at the homes of teachers across India. HATS unique Gurukul type of learning gives the students a newer perspective in learning & applying alongwith a peek into mission & missionary life.
Requirements for Admission for Boys/Men & Girls/Women :
One year integrated “CERTIFICATE” program : 9th Standard & above.
Three (or 4) year Integrated “DEGREE” program : 12th Standard

Classes starts on 15th June
