Prayer
Angola
Bernardo and Ferreira head up the work in that difficult country. With the help of a network of distributors, they are seeing Emmaus take hold and numbers of students are growing well. Pray for German missionary, Stephane, who is now also working on the team.
Macau to Singapore
Pray for a prisoner who came to the Lord in the Macau (China) prison, did 34 courses over her time there. She is now released and will travel back to her home in Singapore. Her nominal Muslim family, in Singapore, has hung her Emmaus diploma on their home wall! Pray for their salvation also.
Georgia – Bob Scheid
Bob is thankful to be involved by correcting and commenting on the initial course of the Georgia prison ministry curriculum. Pray for Bob as he handles this large task with thankfulness and praise seeing God’s Word go out to inmates through ECS courses.
Tennessee – Pat Warner
- Pray for additional churches and individuals to be involved in grading and commenting on the courses sent to inmates.
- Praise God for current willing and faithful workers.
- Pray for finances to handle increased postage.
- Thank God for chaplains in some prisons who are actively seeking to get inmates in their prisons enrolled in courses.
- Pray for the children of inmates. Many express a desire to have their children enrolled in courses.
