SHEPHERDS’ SEMINAR

“INTEGRITY OF HEART & SKILFULNESS OF HANDS”
“So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands” (Ps. 78:72).
The Seminar’s focus will be on the preparation of the hearts of those who are or aspire to be in assembly leadership and oversight ministries and also to develop the skills of their hands so as to provide pastoral care and Christ centred – leadership to those under their charge. The hearts define the character and the hands express the intent of the heart. Therefore, we pray “Lord help us to be shepherds with hearts of integrity and hands of skilfulness.”
The challenges of the 21st century are unparalleled. The demands are high. Human resources are limited. Therefore, we need to learn on how we can tap on the unlimited resources promised and made available for us in the treasure house of the Lord, that at the end when we are called upon to give an account of our vocation, we may be escorted to join that elite group of ‘good and faithful servants’ by our Lord Himself.
