Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – Mar 16, 2015
Dear Brethren,
Thank you for continuing to pray for the many aspects of ECS Ministries.
Please remember to continue to pray for the workers in Ukraine, India, and South Africa.
Prayer Items
Pray for Dubuque office staff as the next round of the Bible Book Challenge comes in for grading.
Pray for Lois Griswold, wife of Gary (who is our app and grading system programmer). She had rotator cuff and carpel tunnel surgery last week. Pray for her quick recovery.
Sri Lanka
Pray for freedom to continue the ministry unhindered and for the growth of more Emmaus centers around the country.
Myanmar
Pray for the editing process and the printing of new Burmese editions. Pray for more individuals to take the courses.
Malaysia
Pray for safety, pray for the finances to print more courses.
Indonesia
Pray for contacts to be made with churches who want to use the courses around the country. Indonesia is comprised of hundreds of islands, which complicates the ministry tremendously. Pray for the finances to travel and follow-up with contacts.
Building for the Future Update!
Praise the Lord for the growth in the building fund balance!
The fund was opened in May 2012, and as of March 2015 the overall amount on hand is $187,796.
We have established a threefold approach.
- Purchase / Renovate a Warehouse – $600,000.
- Establish a Relocation & Equipment Fund – $100,000
- Create a Building Maintenance Fund – $300,000.

Starting from February 1, 2015 gifts to our “Building for the Future” fund will be split proportionately across these funds to ensure that we can meet the financial costs.
