Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – Aug 1, 2016

Thank you for praying for the many aspects of ECS Ministries.
Prayer Items
Czech Republic – Elen Mikesova
Pray for their news students because all the team have regular fulltime jobs and lack time for the Emmaus work. Pray for additional volunteers. A lot of the work is in prisons and they ask prayer about financing the ministry.
Slovakia – Jan Hudec
“Praise our active website, which continually has new hits. Pray that they would stop and get a course. Pray for prisoners studying courses. Praise for a group of 10 from the Lutheran church who study together. Pray for a new generation of leadership for ECS Slovakia.
Serbia – Vladimir Majersky
Pray for the courses as they go out this summer from the office and to campers.
Pennsylvania – Bill Hulshizer
“Please pray for our work, it is down, our largest prison (Cleveland, MS) has stopped receiving courses. So far I have not been able to find out why.”
ECS Dubuque – Al Stoltz
I have planned a trip to Pennsylvania to meet with Life’s Key Director Tim Priano in September. Pray that the arrangements would all work out. It should be a great opportunity to see the facility and see some of the volunteers.
