Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – Nov 2, 2015
Thank you for continuing to pray for the many aspects of ECS Ministries.
Please remember to pray for the workers in Ukraine, India, South Africa, Pakistan, Nepal, Jordan, Egypt, Nigeria, and US prison ministry coordinators.
Prayer Items
Alaska – Russ Bevan
- Continue to pray for the correspondence program: for meeting postage expenses and for the funds needed to purchase additional courses. I praise HIM for His faithfulness in the past!
- Pray for wisdom concerning my workload, especially for my seven or eight weekly speaking opportunities.
- Pray for safe travel to the new prison and that God would lead me to spiritually prepared inmates.
South Carolina – Lou Rittweger
“How To Succeed on the Streets” is being used as a study with groups of male inmates to prepare the “short-timers” for release. The course is well received, but so far, no one has sent in an answer sheet. Also new TVs in the jail have become a real distraction to ministry. As always pray that God’s will be done: I’m glad that He’s in charge.
Chile – Patricio Villarroel
Pray for a painful back problem that Patricio is experiencing. He has also lost four distributors in Chile, slowing the work considerably.
ZAM, West Africa – David Astier
Pray for Mali, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Guinea, which all need to transition to younger directors over the next couple of years
ZAM, Asia/Eastern Europe – Andreas Reh
Andreas will be traveling in Mongolia in November visiting the many ECS Centers. Pray for the work to continue to spread.
