California
ECS Associate Instructor Joseph Cabral was involved in an accident last week. Joseph suffered some minor injuries but his pickup truck was totaled. Pray for his recovery and praise that the Lord spared his life.
South Carolina
Lou Rittweger reported that organizations associated with ministry in the Anderson County Detention Center are starting an outreach to inmates who are nearing release. The ECS course “How To Succeed on the Streets” will be given out. Pray that this important resource will bless many.
Please pray for the Christian Chaplains who are under additional pressure and stress due to the political climate in the USA.
India – KC Jacob
Last Saturday, KC Jacob gave an ECS presentation to 900 Christian teachers in Bangalore. PRAY that many of them will volunteer as channels to reach their students. This could be an immense opportunity! K.C. says: “Like William Carey, we want to ‘Attempt great things for God and expect great things from God!'”
Haiti – Mark Schibli
Praise God! The ambitious target to get 6 Creole courses ready and 5,000 each printed this summer has happened and they are currently in a container being shipped to Haiti. These courses are targeted at reaching Haitian-Diaspora in the Dominican Republic.
International Coordinator – Jim Fleming
Pray for Jim and Sharon as they have 2 weeks left to prepare for a month-long trip to Europe and Africa. Pray for preparations please.
