Ministry Update: ECS Ministries – Aug 17-25, 2015

ecs-logo300x300medDear Brethren,

Thank you for continuing to pray for the many aspects of ECS Ministries.

Please remember to continue to pray for the workers in Ukraine, India, South Africa,Pakistan, Nepal, Jordan, Egypt, Nigeria, and US prison coordinators.

Prayer Items

California – Mike Ausmus
Please pray regarding our computer situation. Dave Thompson developed a system to manage our student record. Currently this is getting more difficult for Dave as he ages. Pray we can either find someone who understands this program and how to maintain it or that we can find another method to keep up with all these tasks that need to be done. Also, pray for my son Ben’s salvation and healing.

Czech Republic
Elen Mikesova praises God for a growing interest from students, new students, and new co-workers!

Hungary
Zoltan & Agnes Oroszlany praise God that despite many obstacles, the ministry goes on and for the enthusiasm of Martha, a corrector! Pray 1) that they find new translators for additional courses. 2) for their time, limited because they are planning a new church. 3) for Agnes’ elderly father-in-law who is sick and absorbing much time, meaning less for Emmaus.

International Coordinator
Jim Fleming needs your prayers as he speaks 9 times this week to colleagues at the Brethren European Missionary Conference in France: that the Spirit of God will use the Word of God to minister to these tired Workers.

Ukraine – Yuri Yur
One church is now using the courses among the deaf and seeing fruit! Pray for an ECS Prison Coordinator in Ukraine. Pray that 800 young people who studied The Greatest Man Alive at camp this summer will take another course at home and grow in Christ. Pray for the Correctors in war-torn parts of the country.

Texas
Pray that Write-Way receives good response of donations through the annual Texas Kroger (grocery store) Community Awards program.

Alabama – David Sanford
Praise, we continue to have tremendous growth in a Federal women’s facility here in Alabama. One chaplain has been exceedingly helpful in the distribution of courses and communication there has been quite good despite the usual difficulties we often find in a large, government type facility.
