International Coordinator
Jim Fleming thanks you all for prayer over the past weeks as he and Sharon were in Europe at the 3 conferences. They grew from 30 Spanish speakers to 40 European workers and then over 700 at the Brethren conference on missions. The new contacts, the countless conversations, the discussions, and so many experiences for the good of ECS Ministries would take hours to recount. Pray that the Lord will continue what was started and bring about much fruit!
Islamic countries
Praise God that a repercussion of all the problems and uncertainties is that people are more spiritually tuned, and our directors in those countries are excited with the contacts they are making and the slow, but fruitful growth of the work for many of them. Pray for their safety as well as courage!
Spain – Gil Vargas
Praise for God’s help with the two Emmaus conferences held in Salamanca. Pray for God’s wisdom in helping keep together the Emmaus Northern Spain team; there is some discouragement. Pray for wisdom in helping counsel some couples with some serious problems.
