Thank you for praying for ECS Ministries.
Give thanks to God for a large gift to our “Building for the Future” warehouse fund.
The Bible Book Challenge is half way through the first section of study. Pray for the approximately 800 students that they will persevere in their study.
Indonesia – Bangun Haro and Yayuk
” Give thanks to God, because we got a lot of the spiritual lessons from translating, editing of Emmaus materials. It encourages us even more to learn the truth of God’s Word. Pray for God to show us people in Indonesia who seek the True Living God.”
Arabic Translations
Pray for the ECS Egypt team as they translate and for George Khalil as he edits a 3rd level (10 new courses) into Arabic. This is a HUGE project and very time consuming, but will bear enormous spiritual fruit.
Nepal
Pray for our director Vikram Ningleku as he travels this week with our German colleagues, Andreas Reh and Gird Spies, who want to take the courses into the very remote Himalayan Mountain villages. Pray they will make the right contacts with churches and believers.
Bulgaria – Markar Mardirossian
“We have the very first person, who has completed all 12 courses in Bulgarian, sister Vasilka. She has been an inspiration in her persistence with the courses. Her husband passed away a few months ago, but she kept on going. She has a very big desire to follow and serve our Lord and Savior!”
Puerto Rico – Esther Frey
Praise: A chaplain was able to get 30 first courses into a maximum-security prison in the west. We have corrected the first course and sent the second.
Pray: I am able to enter the federal prison on the island monthly. I have visited Units 1-A, 1-B. and got 25 new students!
Canada
Please pray for the office staff at New Life Prison Ministry in Canada including Rosemary Redshaw (Administrative Director), Robert and Susan Martin (prison ministry coordinators), and Linda (office manager) as they transition into their roles succeeding Gerrit and Susan Blok.
Pray for ECS App student Dustin as he seeks direction to serve the Lord.
California – Doug Crabb
Pray for Lisa Cash as she joins the corrections and counsel team soon at High Desert Prison Ministry. We thank the Lord for Lisa.
