NIBI NEWS – JANUARY 2014
We praise God and thank Him for yet another year He has granted us to be faithful witnesses for Him.With Paul we can also say that my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Not only did He provide the physical needs of NIBI but also kept all the students, most of them who are new to this extreme climatic conditions from the inclement weather. The brethren, who were scheduled to take classes, came and stayed in the Institute, some for a week and others for a fortnight, inspite of their busy schedules with itinerant preaching and also with commitments in their respective local assemblies. We are indebted to all the saints who upheld the Institute in their valuable prayers. Please continue to do so in the future also.
SPECIAL SESSIONS
As decided in the previous Governing Body Meeting, God enabled us to conduct special sessions for the students of NIBI. Accordingly Brethren Abraham Ninan took a session on Taxation, Binu Varghese on the Legal aspects and Anish Abraham on the basic use of Computers in the day to day affairs. Though only fundamental and primary knowledge was shared but we hope that it would go a long way in helping them when they graduate and go back to their respective places. We are living in a world which is now becoming faster and faster and in times like these we ought to be faster in communications and information technology and also fulfill our responsibilities as citizens of India by paying our fees & Taxes and at the same time should be watchful that nobody robs us of our interests and rights. The students appreciated the sessions and unlike what we thought had many doubts to be cleared about the topics. We are grateful to these brethren for their contribution. We would appreciate if any of our brethren are interested to take similar special sessions, which may be of some practical importance, in addition to the biblical studies, are welcome.
GRADUATION
God willing, the annual meet of the former graduates will be held from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd. March 2014. The Graduation will be on Saturday 22nd at 3 PM at the NIBI Auditorium. Brethren Philipkutty from, Dubai, UAE and KM John from Florida, USA will be our special guests and will minister from the Word during these days. We also expect a number of former students, Faculty, Evangelists from nearby Assemblies in and around Rajasthan and the Governing Body Members to attend this meeting. Kindly continue to remember this matter also in your valuable prayers.
OUTREACH WORK
God willing, we plan to arrange an outreach work during the summer holidays. Two teams of students will work with the senior workers in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan and Gurgaon, Haryana. Kindly remember this matter in your valuable prayers that the Lord may give them a vision of the need to go to the field and get the practical training under the experienced servants of the Lord. Another team of Faculty, Governing Body and the students will work in various places as they travel to North East, focussing the former students of NIBI in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Assam. We would appreciate the valuable prayers of the saints for the journey mercies and Ministry.
NEXT SESSION
God willing, the next session of NIBI will begin in July 2014. We look forward for dedicated young men from our Assemblies to be admitted in the One year Hindi course, Two year Diploma course and Three year B.Th. degree course. Encourage the young men from the Assemblies to avail the opportunity to learn and prepare themselves to be used of God in their respective places as He leads. Free Boarding and Lodging will be provided as the Lord enables.
